Novi Brown is a German-American actress, producer, and entrepreneur best known for her award-winning portrayal of Sabrina Hollins in Tyler Perry's hit BET comedy-drama series, SISTAS.

Born in Germany and raised with a passion for storytelling, Novi discovered her love for acting at the age of nine while studying at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. She later graduated Magna Cum Laude from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, laying the foundation for a career defined by versatility, resilience, and creative excellence.

Novi began her professional career in New York City as a commercial actress and print model, building an impressive portfolio of more than 60 national print and commercial campaigns. Her work has included collaborations with leading brands and networks such as Essence Magazine, Swarovski, Frito-Lay, Scholastic, Lifetime Movie Network, UP TV, Swirl Films, Investigation Discovery, Budweiser, HBO Shorts, E! Entertainment, and many more. Her commercial career spans more than 35 national, international, and digital advertising campaigns.

After becoming the national spokesperson for ORS Hair Care, Novi packed her belongings into her 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix and drove across the country to Los Angeles, arriving on July 4 with one goal—to build a career in television and film. Following years of perseverance and navigating the industry's evolution from traditional casting to the digital era, she landed her breakthrough role as a series regular on SISTAS in 2019.

Since then, Novi has appeared in 9 seasons of network television, starred feature films, consistently is involved in the festival circuits via short films, and has served as a red carpet host for the Soul Train Awards and the NAACP Image Awards.

Beyond acting, Novi is passionate about creating opportunities behind the camera. As a producer, she has developed independent feature films including The Hag and Wedding Material, produced short films such as Drugs Are Fun, Ivory & Gold, and Holly Roller, and created and hosted her own astrology-inspired talk show, Conversations & Constellations. She also expanded her international producing credits by serving as Consulting Producer on the feature film A Wesley South African Christmas.

Her passion for storytelling has also led her back to the stage as an investor and emerging theatrical producer, beginning with the Broadway production of Othello starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal.

In June 2026, Novi expanded her creative vision into the luxury lifestyle space with the launch of BÜHNE NOIR, an organic luxury fragrance and skincare brand that reflects her commitment to artistry, wellness, and timeless elegance.
